HI, I got a Little Dot I+ for my 770 Pro 80ohms not that long ago and have been having fun with swapping opamp (TI 2107) and a set of Voshkod 6ZH1P-EV Tubes (just to see the difference etc..)..
well i "accidentally" bought some Senn HD650's recently from Ebay and was wondering if i a move from the LD I+ to MKII would be a good idea? I can see that it has twice the power at 300 ohms and while they sound ok on the I+ would there be a noticeable improvement?

Yes, the Little Dot I+ is specifically designed to deliver high current to low impedance headphones, whereas the MK II is an OTL design and thus has best synergy with high impedance headphones. You should notice a big jump in dynamic impact and power when driving the HD650s with the MK II.

Thanks for the reply, I decided to get the MkII as it seems it will be a worthy upgrade.
