LD MKII vs. original LDII

I have two questions regarding the current LD MKII:

How does the current LD MKII compare to the LDII an model that I once owned many years ago.
Will the current LD MKII properly drive 600ohm headphones? On the specs. sheet I only see up to 300ohm listed.

Yes, the MK II is an OTL design so the higher the headphone impedance, the higher the output power. 600 ohm headphones will be easily driven by the MK II.
